Currently based in Barcelona and London, Isabel Garfield is predominantly known for her painting, installation and printmaking:

“In my work I am looking at the ways in which memory and dreams function and connect to our everyday lived experiences. I am interested in what constitutes a real, waking space and how this can be a weave of both reality and fiction. I work with a combination of paintings and made structures, which in turn form installations. The paintings I create build environments which merge colour, pattern, objects and the remembered frames and shadows of interiors.”
