“My work looks to explore the transfiguring of internal displacement to physical displacements of architectural and bodily elements within a space. Explored through themes of ephemerality, urbanisation, and dislocation, my work deconstructs the boundaries that imply a cultural difference in the first place, questioning social constructs such as British-ness and racial difference.  

Through the use of portraiture photography and traditional landscape imagery, my work debates ideas surrounding ethnic origin and authenticity, whilst traversing multiple worlds of time, place, and the languages of image-making.”
